Can I combine the units, and can they be stacked?

Yes. Every Hako unit shares a 600mm depth, and the heights follow one module — 550mm, 1100mm and 1650mm. Place them side by side and the tops align. Add units later and the line simply extends.
Why these three heights?

550mm works as a bench, console or TV cabinet. 1100mm gives you a usable waist-height top surface. 1650mm carries full-height storage while keeping the ceiling line open. Two low units equal one mid; three equal one tall.
Is it made from real solid wood, and is it safe?

Yes. Hako is built from solid rubberwood with natural wood knots preserved, finished with eco-friendly, non-toxic coatings. Formaldehyde levels comply with strict international standards — safe for your home and your family.
What's the advantage over custom-built carpentry?

Built-in carpentry is fixed to the wall and stays behind when you move. Hako gives you the same built-in look at a fraction of the cost, and it comes with you — rearrange it, expand it, or take it to your next home.
Can I start small and add more later?

Yes. Buy one unit now and add to it whenever your storage needs change. Because the module never changes, a piece bought next year still lines up with the one you own today.
Do I need to assemble the products myself?

You can assemble it yourself or book our assembly service. Every unit ships flat-packed with hardware and clear instructions, and most parcels fit in a car boot. If you'd rather leave it to us, our team is happy to help (click for details).
Why is Hako worth buying compared to cheaper cabinets?
